MANILA, Philippines - Juvic Pagunsan and Angelo Que stayed within striking distance of the leaders in the rain-halted third round of the Singapore Open at the Sentosa Golf Club’s Serapong course yesterday.
Pagunsan went one-under through 10 holes while Que was even through eight holes. Both were three strokes off the pace when the round was suspended due to lightning threats.
Former world No. 1 Adam Scott has grabbed a one-shot lead over Japanese Hideto Tanihara when play was stopped.
Scott was two under in the round and nine-under in the tourney following birdies on holes No 4 and 7.
Que fired an eagle on No. 4 but then blew strokes on back-to-back bogeys from No. 5.
Pagunsan got off to a hot start with back-to-back birdies from hole No. 4 but dropped a shot with a bogey on the par-4 10th.
Another Filipino Miguel Tabuena was even through 10 holes. He’s five shots behind the frontrunner.
