MANILA, Philippines — If things go their way, AMA will be the 13th PBA team.

During the team's press conference Wednesday before the 2017 PBA D-League Aspirants Cup, senior vice president Arnel Hibo said they have formally given their letter of intent to the league.

"Hopefully, in three years, we become an active member in the PBA," Hibo said.

But for now, the focus for the Titans, who have yet to enter the semis, is to win their first D-League championship.

Last year, the Titans held a combined 6-14 record.

Their 2017 campaign received a major boost when they landed the services of collegiate superstar Jeron Teng.

The Titans will see action on Thursday against newcomer Batangas at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
