MANILA, Philippines — In his five years in the collegiate ranks, Jeron Teng celebrated two championships. Now that he is on a new chapter in his career, he wants more.
Speaking at the AMA Online Education Titans' press conference Wednesday at the Bagoong Club in Quezon City, the 2016 PBA D-League overall top pick said he is excited to test his wares in the pro league.
"I'm really honored to be (a) part of this great institution. I just can't wait to play for AMA," he said.
The UAAP finals MVP said he does not feel pressure in delivering the Titans' first championship.
"As a team, our goal is to win a championship – and I think it's not impossible," Teng said.
Teng and the rest of the Titans will try to improve on their 2-6 record in the previous Aspirant's Cup.
The Titans have yet to qualify in the semis since joining in 2014.
Teng will make his debut Thursday when the Titans take on newcomer Batangas at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
