McGregor, Mayweather offered $25M to fight each other
MANILA, Philippines – Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s fight takes another turn as UFC top honcho Dana White himself have fanned the fires of the tussle's possibility Saturday.
White, the president of the world-renowned mixed martial arts promotion where McGregor fights, responded to Mayweather's comment that only a bout with the Irish fighter can lure him out of retirement.
"There's a real offer... and I'm the guy who could actually make the offer and I'm actually making a real offer," White said in a Fox Sports radio broadcast.

Mayweather, who hung his gloves in September 2015, touts a flawless record in professional boxing.
McGregor, on the other hand, has made his mark in the UFC by becoming the first fighter to hold two division belts at the same time.
The dream fight first gained steam when McGregor was issued a boxing license in November last year.
White's offer of $25 million apiece -- along with pay-per-view returns -- adds another chapter to the saga.
