MANILA, Philippines – Ceferino De Leon and Robert Leung topped their respective men’s categories in the BMW Golf Cup International National Final while Jessalyn Tan and Raymond Lacdao ruled the ladies and guest divisions, respectively, to clinch berths in the World Final in March 2017.
De Leon carded a net score of 54 to capture the Class I crown, edging Ronilo Olaguera, who nipped Wilson Guado in the countback for second after both wound up with 53 points.
Leung, on the other hand, took the Class II crown with a 66, beating Robert Layson, who had 57, while Vic Alimurung placed third with a 56.
Tan, meanwhile, scored 56 points under the Modified Stableford scoring system and bagged the ladies division plum over Malu Gamboa, who had a 52, while Irene Dy turned in a 47 for third in the event presented by Asian Carmakers Corporation (ACC), the official importer and distributor of BMW in the Philippines.
