Archers down Generals in Milcu caging

MANILA, Philippines – De La Salle warded off Emilio Aguinaldo College, 58-52, as the Green Archers hurdled their opening game match in the Milcu Got Skills Hard To Guard 25-under division tournament at the Lyceum gym last weekend.

Gab Capacio scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds to help power the Archers to victory and bag the best player honors in Week One of the tournament sponsored by Milcu and sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.

In the other 25-U game at the Enderun Colleges gym, Jose Rizal University marked its league debut with a 55-39 rout of De Ocampo Memorial Colleges in the tournament backed by Basketball TV, Gerry’s Grill, Gatorade, Clyde Shoe Cleaner, LGR, SLAM, Rain or Shine, Honda, Coach Athletic Trainers Tape, Secret Fresh, Mighty Sports, Nousha Kebabs and Barbeque, FMR Bus Services, and Patricio’s Online Sneaker Source.
