MANILA, Philippines - Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club, the country’s golf hub which boasts of four championship courses, is set to host a record 600 players in the 4x4 Invitational member-guest tournament slated in two separate weekends next month.
The field has been pegged at that level to ensure a smooth pace of play at the Aoki, Dye, Faldo and Norman layouts and guarantee another successful staging of the annual event, EGGCC’s flagship member-guest tournament, according to 4x4 committee chairman Fred Pareja.
“We don’t want them to stay in the course too long. What we want is for them to be get the 4x4 experience that’s fast, fun and enjoyable,” said Pareja, also a director at Eagle Ridge.
Two brand-new cars will be up for grabs as main raffle prizes in the much-awaited four-day tournament, which starts Nov. 5 and 6 for the first week and Nov. 11 and 12 for the next, as main raffle prizes.
Each participant of the tournament, sponsored by Concepts Golf Management, Sta. Lucia Land, WGC Golf, CHEQ Systems and LK Golf, will also receive a Voice Caddy T1 Hybrid golf and fitness watch as giveaways.
“Eagle Ridge wants nothing but the best for its members and guests alike. Constantly, we are improving the facilities for us to progress with our overall services,” said Pareja.
Participants will also be treated to a wide array of foods to be catered by Champions Bar, the newest food and beverage concessionaire, and a bigger pro shop complete with golfing needs.
