LOOK: Kiefer Ravena gets shoes, letter from LeBron James

MANILA, Philippines – Two-time UAAP MVP and Gilas cadet star Kiefer Ravena received basketball shoes and a letter from NBA star LeBron James.

Ravena took to Instagram to share what he received from the NBA champion.

"You want to become the first Filipino player to make it in the NBA. Don't let the dream go," the letter read.

Months ago, Ravena flew to the United States to show his wares. He was invited to try out for the Texas Legends in the NBA Development League.

The "Phenom" is still waiting for a call-up from the team.
