The GlobalPort guard's 20 points bested Mahindra's KG Canaleta and Alaska's RJ Jazul, who both tallied 17 points in the final round.
Jazul had 22 in the first round that also saw veteran marksmen in James Yap, Alex Cabagnot, Jay-jay Helterbrand, Jeff Chan along, Jared Dillinger with newcomers Troy Rosario, Almond Vosotros and Simon Enciso.
Canaleta, for his part, registered an impressive 26 points in the eliminations. Not far behind was Romeo who tallied 24.
Romeo takes home P30,000 along with badge of being back-to-back 3-point kings in the All-Star sideshows.
The Batang Pier's 20-point finish is the second-best finish in the last decade in the 3-point showcase. Chris Tiu of Rain or Shine set the championship-round best of 22 points in 2014.
Romeo took home the hardware in 2015 with a 18-18 record in the first and final rounds, respectively. He also wound up as All-Star game Most Valuable Player in the same year.
