TV5 to air opener, games live

MANILA, Philippines – Filipinos get the front seat view of the Olympic Games as TV5 brings to Pinoy television the blow-by-blow action live as it happens in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Aug. 5-21 or Aug. 6-22 Manila time.

TV5, the Philippines’ premier sports channel, has brought some of the biggest local and international sporting events to the country, including the recently concluded FIBA Olympics Qualifying Tournament.

As the official Philippine broadcaster of RIO 2016, TV5 is set to bring an extensive coverage and updates of the Olympics, beginning with the opening ceremonies on Aug. 6 at 7 a.m.

The Kapatid Network is the official Olympics broadcast partner.
