NCA, UFCC aces clash in Big Event

MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance members and the UFCC mainstays field in their aces as they clash for top honors in the NCA Big Event derby today at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

The NCA group will be spearheaded by Patrick Antonio, Gov. Ito Ynares, Efren Canlas, Ador Pleyto, Boyet Legazpo, Manny and Arman Santos, Claude Bautista, Atty. Mendoza, Osang dela Cruz and the Firefly group while Atong Ang, Gerry Ramos, Sonny Lagon and Gov. Eddie Bong Plaza banner the UFCC side in the event that will accept entries from 2,000 to 2,400 kilograms.

Meanwhile, three entries shared the championship in the NCA World Championship Derby with PS Govic Hot City of Pipo Soliman/Vic Yap/Custer Tiu, Diego 1 of Diego, and CPB Benhur of Gov. Claude Bautista finishing with seven points apiece.

LDB July 8 4-cock Pasay of Ka Luding/Rey/Topher scored six points while Ibaan of Palito wound up with 5.5 points.

SAP of Ador Pleyto, Taipan One of Jake Javier, Phoenix of MPV, Jacob’s Dream of Cris de Jesus, Goldquest Champions of Osang dela Cruz/RSL, Lucky Money of Rene Medina, and Ju-Stephen Curry of James Uy ended up with five points each.
