MANILA, Philippines – Chiang Kai Shek College and La Salle Greenhills posted a pair of lopsided victories to stay unbeaten in Week 3 of the Milcu Got Skills Malolos Republic Summer Showcase at the Enderun Colleges gym recently.
Joshua Tolentino shot 13 points, hauled down five rebounds and came through with four steals as the CKSC Blue Dragons beat the MGC New Life Christian Academy side, 57-38, to stretch their win run to three and keep the lead in Group A of the 14-under division of the tournament sponsored by Milcu and sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.
Meanwhile, Kenji Duremdes, son of PBA legend Kenneth Duremdes, hit 10 points and snared seven rebounds as La Salle Greenhills dominated Colegio De San Agustin, 73-20, for a 4-0 record in Group B.
In other results, Ricci Rivero fired 22 points as La Salle crushed Manuel L. Quezon University, 67-5, for a 3-0 record in Group A of the 25-U division.
Also in the 25-U, Aristotle Dionisio had 17 points and five rebounds as St. Clare College won over Enderun Colleges, 68-58, for a 2-0 win-loss record in Group B in the tournament also supported by Basketball TV, Gatorade, Clyde Shoe Cleaner, Kawasaki, LGR, SLAM, Rain Or Shine, Honda, Coach Athletic Trainers Tape, Secret Fresh, Mighty Sports, and Nousha Kebabs and Barbeque.
