Cham, De Jesus top ABC monthly

MANILA, Philippines – Jerry Canuday Cham of Boysen Paints rolled a 1327 to rule Group A while Romi De Jesus of Philflex dominated Group B with a 1252 in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at the E-Lanes Center in San Juan last week.

Ronnie Javier of Steeltech Roofing shot a 1241, nipping Joey del Rosario of American Wires in the tiebreak for runner-up honors while William Kang of Consnet Construction scored a 1232 for fourth followed by Dante Manglicmot of Crown Pipes and Ricky Martinez of Boysen Paints, who carded 1232 and 1194, respectively, in Group A.

Roland Sy of Crown Pipes turned in a 1206 to finish second to De Jesus while Rudy Serrano of DN Steel placed third with a 1200 followed by Abe Firmeza of FMJ Marketing and Electrical and Edjing San Juan of IFE Elevators, who shot 1195 and 1194, respectively.

Meanwhile, ABC president Eugene Panaguiton  is inviting all architects, sponsors, and ABC members to participate in the weekly tournament sponsored by Boysen Philippines, Boysen Acrytex/Knoxout/Healthy Homes/Wallguard, Dutch boy,Crown Pipes, American wires/Duraflex TW/THHN Wires,Philflex Cables, Emerald Pipes,Atlanta Pipes, Consnet Construction, Morning Sun, Miraga Trading, E.S.Vidal Builders, Romari Construction, DN Steel, Steeltech Roofing, Matson Builders, IFE Elevators, FMJ Electrical, Sogo Systems, Mighty Lynx, Pro -Active Pest Control, Light Cord Enterprises, HCG, Metro Cathay Trading and Glass Asia.

The tournament resumes at 7:30 tonight with the holding of the four-man team event 4 games One Group Championship, also at E-Lanes.
