Djoko finishes off Federer, reaches Aussie Open final

Five-time champion Novak Djokovic has beaten four-time winner Roger Federer 6-1, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 in the semifinals to advance to his sixth Australian Open final.

The top-ranked and defending champion Djokovic is bidding to win his sixth Australian Open, and to continue a run that earned him three of the four Grand Slam trophies in 2015.

This was the 45th meeting between Djokovic and Federer, and the outcome now gives the 28-year-old Serbian an edge of 23-22. (Related story on A-26) Djokovic faces either No. 2 Andy Murray or No. 13 Milos Raonic in the final.
