The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – The Ateneo de Zamboanga Metro Manila Alumni Association (ADZUMMAA) golf tournament will be held March 18 with a big field expected to see action at the Valley Golf Club’s North course in Antipolo City.

Tournament director and ADZUMMAA board member Jimmy Panganiban said titles to be disputed are Classes A, B and C, the overall net and the lowest gross with the event open to all members, friends, guests, and sponsors of ADZUMMAA, an association of Ateneo de Zamboanga alumni residing in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

Headed by president Paulino Pe, ADZUMMAA is known for its successful implementation of its 20-year old Ateneo de Zamboanga Faculty Development Program wherein teachers at the institution are given scholarships for advanced studies to improve the quality of its education.

The ADZUMMAA also regularly holds social and sports activities to promote camaraderie and friendship among Zamboanga City natives who are now based in Metro Manila and the nearby provinces.
