Nagano, Adao pace NCA world derby tilt
MANILA, Philippines – Elan Nagano’s Sanleo and Rene Adao’s Binangonan Lucky Chances came away with four points apiece to lead the title chase in the National Cockers Alliance World Championship Derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig last Thursday.
Engr. Canlas’ Jimafer BG and Tady Palma’s Tungkong Mangga scored 3.5 points each while Ador Pleyto’s SAP-2, Rey Tambis and Alan Brown’s R.T. Brown, Boy Torres’ Binangonan Best, Mayor Boyet Ynares and Engr. Sonny Panaligan’s Tarantula/BMY Binangonan, Rene Medina’s Lucky Money/Binangonan, and Gov’t Ito Ynares’ Binangonan stayed in the hunt with three points each.
Thrilling and exciting matches among the roosters owned by the best cockfight breeders in the country and abroad slugged it out in the semifinals with Nagano and Adao’s aces fashioning out victories to bolster their respective bids.
Meanwhile, Tony Lizares’ NBC-PFGB-50M, Mario Villamor’s Phoenix, Osang dela Cruz’s Goldquest Champions, Atty. Santos’ 114RT Vigan, and FTE’s Bingo scored 2.5 points apiece. Posting two points each were Atong Ang’s AA Vikings and AA Cobra, Jake Javier’s Red Lakota, Gov. Claude Bautista’s CPB & JB, Ernie Austria’s Firefly, Ka Luding/Rey & Topher’s BM88 Candelaria 2016, Rep. Patrick Antonio’s NBC Finance and Allan Tan’s AG 88.
