NCA world derby meet under way

MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance World Championship Derby reels off today with a long list of top-notch fights among the aces of the world’s leading cockers and breeders on tap at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

American cock breeders Roger Robert, Lee Ves, and Oscar Hickens headline the elite cast in the derby series which also drew the participation of top local and international fighters.

They include Bong Pineda, Atty. Jojo c/o Mymy Erap Boys, Remy Medrano, Tokwing, Bobby Mahilig, Gerry Ramos, Engr. Marfori, Henry Tan, RJ Mejia, Junior Velasco, Mayor Boyet Ynares, Rene Adao, Atty. Mendoza, Atty. Santos c/o Ramon, Rey Tambis, Ferdy Eusevio, Ador Pleyto, Danny Lim and General Gualberto.

Headlining the NCA roster in the event, dubbed as the Olympics of cockfighting, are Patrick Antonio, Atong Ang, Eric dela Rosa, Elan Nagano, Jose Panganiban, Edgar Santos, Ito Ynares, Ronnie Puno, Jun Topacio, Peter Unabia, Ador Pleyto, Claude Bautista, Firefly Group, Jun Soriano, Vic Yap, Pipo Soliman, Mario Villamor, Luding Boongaling, Jimafer and Efren Canlas.
