MANILA, Philippines – The BEST Center (Basketball Efficiency and Scientific Training Center), the pioneering group of sports clinicians in the country, starts the new year with a blast when it holds basketball clinics for young, aspiring basketball players in three venues as early as Jan. 9.
The Ateneo College covered courts in Katipunan, Quezon City and the Xavier School, also in QC, will be hosting Saturday classes starting Jan. 9.
Starmall in Alabang, meanwhile, will hold Sunday classes starting Jan. 10, according to Best Center founder and president Nic Jorge, also a former national coach whose group has been cited for the Olympism Award by the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) and a Hall of Fame awardee by the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA).
Classes offered at the Ateneo will be for preparatory levels 1 to 5 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. while Xavier School clinics will be for preparatory level 1 to 3 from 1-4 p.m.
Starmall classes will be for students in preparatory levels 1-3 from 1-4 p.m.
