MANILA, Philippines – Nonito Donaire Jr. and Puerto Rican Cesar Juarez both made weight Friday for their super bantamweight championship bout at the Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Saturday.
Donaire (35-3-0, 23 KOs) and Juarez (17-3-0, 13 KOs) each tipped the scales at the bantamweight limit of 122 pounds during the official weigh-in ceremony.
The two fighters will clash for the vacant WBO super bantamweight title.
