WATCH: IPTL Day 3 highlights

MANILA, Philippines -- The Philippine Mavericks bounced back from a heartbreaker and the defending champion Indian Aces recover from a poor start and survived Gael Monfils' absence.

The  Mavericks kept the Japan Warriors winless.  But the home team got a consolation when young Japanese Kurumi Nara stunned world no.1 Serena Williams.

In the other match, there was the classic matchup between legends Carlos Moya and Fabrice Santoro that went the distance while Ivan Dodig also stepped up in lieu of the injured Monfils.

Those were just some of the many highlights of the final day of the opening leg of the Coca-Cola International Premier Tennis League in the charming city of Kobe, Japan.
