4 teams dispute last 2 FBA semis seats

MANILA, Philippines - Pateros Austen Morris tangles with Quezon City UP while Malolos Mighty Bulsu collides with Marikina Wangs today for the last two semifinal berths in the Filsports Basketball Association Second Conference at the Enderun Colleges gym.

The Associates, spearheaded by team owner and playing coach Nic Belasco, face off with the Maroons, the reigning First Conference champions, at 7:30 p.m. while the Mighty Bulsu and the Deliverers mix it up in the 3:30 p.m.

Pateros Austen Morris is currently at No. 3 with a 4-5 (win-loss) record and a victory will enable it to join early semifinalists Pampanga Foton and Manila NU-MFT.

Malolos, Marikina and Quezon City are in a three-way logjam for No. 4 with 3-6 slates.

The Toplander and the Mica Tan-backed Bulldogs face off at 5:30 p.m. in what could be a sneak preview of this conference’s finals.

The games will be aired over Aksyon TV, Aksyon International, Net 25, Net 25 International and Fox Sports International with Korgivit E and Titan as major sponsors of the league.
