Archers coach out?

Olmin Leyba - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Green Archers mentor Juno Sauler has reportedly stepped down over the weekend after the Taft-based squad bombed out of the Final Four stint, according to a sports website.

Sauler, who led DLSU to the UAAP crown in Season 76, wasn’t replying to media queries at presstime.

Sought for confirmation, La Salle athletic officials said Sauler hasn’t sent word yet.

“As of the moment, the office has not received any such letter,” athletic director Nonong Calanog said in a report on the ABS-CBN Sports website.

He also assured the public that DLSU will issue a formal statement “if there is any to issue.”

Reportedly eyed as replacement are current assistant Siot Tangquincen, former coach Franz Pumaren and Alaska assistant Louie Alas.
