MANILA, Philippines – Pampanga Foton and Manila National University-MFT seek to keep their lofty perch as the two battle Quezon City UP and Marikina Wangs, respectively, on Saturday in the Filsports Basketball Association Second Conferencen at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center in Malolos.

Sharing the top spot with identical 5-1 (win-loss) records, the Tornadoes face off with the Maroons, the reigning First Conference champions, at 3:30 p.m. in a grudge match between last Conference's finals protagonists.

The Bulldogs, for their part, clash with the unpredictable Deliverers at 5:30 p.m.

Quezon City UP and Marikina Wangs are expected to give it all as a defeat could send them out of the magic four.

To date, the two are in a four-way logjam at third spot with Pateros Austen Morris Associates and Malolos Mighty Bulsu on 2-4 cards.

The Associates, who is bannered by team owner cum playing coach Nic Belasco, face off with the Mighty Bulsu in the main offering at 7:30 p.m. with the winner staying in a tie for third while fanning their semis hopes.

FBA President and CEO LJ Serrano and Commissioner and CFO Vince Hizon will grace the weekend games with host Malolos Mayor Attorney Christian Natividad held at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center in Bulacan.
