MANILA, Philippines – Far Eastern University ripped La Salle College-Antipolo, 86-42, to kick off its campaign in the Milcu Got Skills Hard To Guard basketball tournament at the Enderun Colleges Gym in Taguig City recently.
Aycei Inigo fired 21 points and hauled down six rebounds as the Tamaraws got off to a rousing start in the 25-under of the tournament sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas and supported by Gatorade, LGR, Slam, Mighty Sports, Clyde Shoe Cleaner, Secret Fresh Ronac, Coach Athletic Trainers’ Tape, and Magic 89.9.
In other 25-U results, Christian Fajarito had 11 points and nine rebounds as College of Saint Benilde downed Centro Escolar University-B, 54-40, while CEU-A defeated Lyceum-Red via the same scoreline.
In the 15-U division, De La Salle Zobel routed Skyhawk South Ballers, 53-38, while Adamson thumped the Bataan Warriors, 73-42. But Bataan bounced back with a 55-41 win over La Salle College-Antipolo.
In the 12-U division, De La Salle-Zobel dominated La Salle College-Antipolo, 59-13, while Marist School scored a 61-56 victory over Chiang Kai Shek College.
