MANILA, Philippines - Rafael Atencio, father of Manila Standard sportswriter Peter, passed away last Saturday and was cremated Sunday. He was 84.
The retired UE professor was survived by children Joel, Peter and wife Angie, Michael and wife Jules, Rosanne and husband David, and Leo, sisters Leticia and Felicitas and grandchildren Keefe, Megan and Marionne, Joachim and Bea.
