SBP, Philta grace PSA Forum

MANILA, Philippines - The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) graces today’s PSA Forum at Shakey’s Malate with SBP executive director Sonny Barrios talking about the future of Gilas national team following its silver medal finish in the just concluded FIBA Asia Championship in Changsha, China.

By making it to the Final Four in the recent FIBA meet, the Philippines earned a berth in the final Olympic qualifier set July 4-10 next year.

Making up the other half of the 10:30 a.m. session, aired live over DZSR Sports Radio 918 and presented by San Miguel Corp., Shakey’s, Accel, and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., is the Philta International tennis tournament set to start also today at the Valle Verde courts in Pasig.

Discussing about the tournament is Philippine Tennis Association (Philta) vice president Randy Villanueva.
