Cavs coach Blatt lauds Gilas for FIBA Asia win over Iran
MANILA, Philippines – Message sent.
Gilas Pilipinas surely sent ripples to the other side of the world after handing Iran its first loss in the FIBA Asia tournament and its first defeat at the hands of Filipinos since the 2007 Jones Cup.
During the National Basketball Association's Media Day, NBA.com Philippines contributor Rex Alba got pleasantries from Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt, who lauded the national team's triumphant outing against the tournament defending champions.
