PLDT Home Fibr renews support for IPTL

MANILA, Philippines - PLDT HOME Fibr, the country’s most powerful broadband, is coming in again as the presentor of the Manila leg of the second International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) which features 30 tennis legends and rising stars from around the world this December.

Season two of IPTL expands its lineup to over 30 superstars and rising players with mixed doubles Grand Slam titleholder Richard Gasquet, Wimbledon Championships WTA titleholder Sabine Lisicki, 2013 Australian Open mixed doubles titleholder Jarmila Gajdosova, youngest ATP top 100 Borna Coric, ATP World Tour doubles titleholder and Fil-Am pride Treat Huey and World No. 8 in men’s singles and team captain Mark Philippoussis joining Williams in the Mavericks squad.

The Philippine Mavericks will be pitted against stalwarts representing the teams of India, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and an added fifth country—Japan. These superstars form the Micromax Indian Aces, UAE Royals, Singapore Slammers and Japan Warriors.

The second season of IPTL will kick off its five-nation tour on Dec. 2 in Japan. The Philippines will host the second leg on Dec. 6-8 with Delhi (India), Dubai (UAE) and Singapore hosting the next three stops.
