NU, Ateneo dispute U-25 crown in Milcu caging
MANILA, Philippines - National University and Ateneo defeated their respective semifinal rivals to arrange a showdown for the Milcu Elite Showcase under-25 crown at the Enderun Colleges gym in Taguig City recently.
Issa Gaye put on a double-double job of 18 points and 18 rebounds as the Bulldogs downed the Enderun Colleges, 65-57, while CJ Perez also came through with 30 points and 10 rebounds to power the Blue Eagles past the Adamson Falcons, 88-78.
The Bulldogs and the Blue Eagles dispute the crown tomorrow starting at 7:30 a.m.
Enderun Colleges and Adamson clash for third place at 10:30 a.m.
In the Under-16 division, Chiang Kai Shek College and University of the East hurdled their semifinal foes to seal a title duel of the event sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas and supported by Milcu, Slam Philippines, Gatorade, LGR, Titan Sports Wear, Coach Athletic Trainer’s Tape, Secret Fresh, and Enderun Colleges.
