MANILA, Philippines - The country’s finest young karters renew their rivalry tomorrow in the sixth leg of the 2015 Petron Blaze 100 ROK Karting Super Series at the Clark International Speedway.
Eduardo Coseteng Jr. of Eagle Cement and Flynn Jackes of Team Kart Master Drakar-Singapore try to preserve their hold of the top spots.
Coseteng needs a crucial win that will fortify his hold of solo lead in the Mini-ROK XCS while Jackes guns for the victory that will move him closer to the KF Restricted Blaze 100 crown.
Despite holding a total of 287 points, the wide lead still doesn’t leave Coseteng any room for complacency as three others are just close behind – Jarred Kim of Formula-E Racing (232 pts.), Rap Rap Gutierrez (214 pts.), and Jackes (180 pts.). With the vast improvement shown by both Kim and Gutierrez, Coseteng has to work double time as a misstep could cause a major overhaul in the standings.
The event is sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines and sponsored by Petron, Petron Blaze 100 Euro 4, Petron XCS, Petron Ultron, Petron Xtra, Petron Sprint, Magnolia Pure Water and Yokohama the official tires.
