LOOK: NBA MVP Stephen Curry begins Asian tour in Tokyo

MANILA, Philippines -- Reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry has started his Under Armour Roadshow in Asia with the first stop in Tokyo, Japan on Friday.

Curry, who led the Golden State Warriors to win the franchise's first NBA title in 40 years last season, is bound for Manila the following day as part of a whirlwind five-day, five-city Asian tour. 

Curry will hit town along with Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank on Saturday morning and will immediately meet the local media in the morning followed by his fans day at 2 p.m. in the Mall of Asia Arena.

After Manila, the Warriors' main man will fly to Beijing on September 6, Chongqing on September 7, and finally wrapped up the tour that is designed to connect Stephen with the people and culture of these diverse countries through up and close personal interactions in Shanghai on September 8. 

In Tokyo, Curry showed his marksmanship in shooting clinic with the Under-19 team of Japan.
