Javier, two others top ABC bowling

MANILA, Philippines - Ronnie Javier of Boysen Paints came up with a 1252 to bag the Group A crown while Joan Mendoza and Boy Roldan took the Groups B and C titles, respectively, in the Architects Bowling Club’s Winners Catch Game Hi-Lo Championship at the E-Lanes Center in San Juan last week.

Nepthy del Rosario, also of Boysen, scored a 1150 while Eugene Panaguiton of Moldex Pipes shot a 1137 to finish second and third, respectively, in Group A.

Mendoza, another Boysen bet, rolled a 1145 to beat Lou Randy Poon of American Wires, who had a 1045, and Ricky Martinez of Emerald Pipes, who made a 1031, for the Class B plum while Roldan, of Emerald Pipes, put in a 1056 to best Jho Madrinal of Romari Constructions, who shot a 1001, and Malou del Rosario, also of Boysen, who scored a 965, for the Group C diadem.

The weekly event resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the ABC Monthly Championship 6 games, also at the E-Lanes.
