ICTSI-JGFP inter-school fires off at ERidge

MANILA, Philippines - Two hundred players representing 30 schools from all over Metro Manila are seeing action in the 2015 ICTSI-JGFP Inter-School Golf Championships today at the Eastridge Golf Club in Binangonan, Rizal.

The traditional parade of players will usher in the three-month series of team and individual competitions at various categories.

To be disputed in the event conducted by the Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines and backed chiefly by the International Container Terminal Services, Inc. Foundation are the centerpiece Seniors, Juniors, Aspirants 1 and Aspirants 2 (formerly Midgets) for boys and girls 1, 2, 3.

The other sponsors are Philippine Airlines, Philippine Golf Foundation, Cleantech, Cleanpak and Inquirer Golf.

Represented are Ateneo De Manila University, Bloomfield Academy, Casa Real Montessori, De La Salle University, De La Salle Zobel , HEDCEN, Hope Integrated School, Immaculate Conception Academy, International School Manila, International School of Manaco, Kent Montessori, La Salle Greenhills, La Salle-STC, Laurel Springs School, Learning Links, Living Heritage Academy, Lourdes School-Mandaluyong, Mapua Institute of Technology, Miriam College, MGC New Life Christian School, OB Montessori Las Piñas, Our Lady of Peace School, PAREF Woodrose, Philippine Science High, Philippine School of Tomorrow, San Beda Alabang, San Beda Taytay, Science High School-Caloocan, St. Paul’s Pasig and Xavier University.

Playing today are Aspirants 2 and those in girls 1, 2 and 3 divisions.

Aside from Eastridge, the other host venues are Aguinaldo, Ayala Greenfield and Valley.
