MANILA, Philippines – Croatian tennis player Borna Coric is the youngest in the roster of Philippine Mavericks. But that doesn't mean he has the least potency when it comes to skill and pedigree.
 
He has beat two high-ranking  athletes in Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray as a teenager.
 
Now he's carving out a career in making it deep in a Grand Slam event. His crosshairs are now set on the upcoming US Open.
