MANILA, Philippines - The Elorde International Productions has lined up a triple main event headlined by the Jheritz Chavez-Tatsuya Yanagi of Japan duel for the vacant WBC EPBC lightweight championship tomorrow at the Elorde Sports Center in Sucat, Parañaque.
The card also stakes World Boxing Council Euro Pacific Boxing Council belts in the vacant flyweight and super flyweight divisions, according to the organizing EIP, headed by Gabriel “Bebot” Elorde and CEO Roland Delantar of RCD Land, Inc. and Alhabishi International Services, Inc.
Fights start at 4 p.m.
Winners will automatically land in the top 15 ratings of the WBC.
Chavez, of Madrigal boxing stable and currently rated No. 3 in the country, slugs it out with the Tokyo fighter in what promises to be a fierce battle for the WBC EPBC lightweight championship.
