Tornadoes stake perfect record vs Warriors

Joey Villar - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines -- The Pampanga Foton Tornadoes seek to preserve its pristine slate as they clash with the Laguna Busa Warriors Saturday in the Filsports Basketball Association Unity Games at the Angeles University Foundation Gym in Pampanga.

Drawing strength from solid performances of former Arellano University standout Levi Hernandez, the Tornadoes won their first three games to seize the early lead and should stay at the helm if they could beat Busa Warriors in their 3:30 p.m. duel.

The Tornadoes, for their part, are eyeing their first triumph after dropping their first three assignments.

Metro Racal, a team mentored by former Letran hotshot Ronjay Enrile, battle Malolos Mighty Bulacan State University in the first game at 3:30 p.m.

The FBA led by League Commissioner Vince Hizon and President LJ Serrano is an associate member of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.

The games are televised on the People's Television Network (PTV4) and will be aired from Monday to Friday starting at 3:00 pm.
