WATCH: Mayweather dominates sparmate

MANILA, Philippines – Amid reports of Floyd Mayweather Jr. getting knocked out in sparring, a video surfaced on YouTube showing the undefeated American pummeling an opponent in sparring.

The 14-second clip, uploaded by YouTube user HoopJab, shows Mayweather battering a sparring partner with a variety of shots, including some powerful lead right hands. The 38-year-old boxer has displayed speed and sharpness that have allowed him to sit atop the pound-for-pound ratings for a long time.

Mayweather, unbeaten in 47 outings, takes on Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 2, a fight that’s expected to go down as the richest ever in boxing history.
