NCAA beach volley to unwrap in Subic

MANILA, Philippines - Beach volley action in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) fires off tomorrow with San Sebastian College and St. Benilde seeking to retain their respective crowns at the Waterfront Boardwalk in Subic Bay.

The SSC spikers lorded it over the field to rule the women’s category last year while the Blazers dominated the men’s side of the event which will be hosted by Letran.

Arellano University, on the other hand, seeks to keep the high school championship.

“We want to let the fans from the province experience the NCAA action,” said tournament chairman Fr. Victor Calvo, OP.

The NCAA beach volleyball competition is backed by Summit Mineral Water, Smart, Gerry’s Grill, HAWK Bags, Pau Liniment, Victory Liner, Mikasa, LGR Athletic Wears, ACME Inc., Subic Bay Freeport Chamber of Commerce, Lighthouse Resort, Bayfront Hotel, Terrace Hotel, Subic Park Hotel and Villas Moonbay Marina.
