Pacquiao to play in PBA All-Star Game if tapped

MANILA, Philippines – Kia Sorentos team manager Pineda said boxing idol Manny Pacquiao would be very excited about participating in the 2015 PBA All-Star Game.

“If he’s chosen, he’ll surely play. Kay Manny, pag sinabing laro, lalaro yan,” said Pineda.

The PBA stages its 2015 All-Star Extravaganza in Puerto Princesa, Palawan on March 5-8, bringing back the North-versus-South format in the All-Star Game.

Possible top prospects for the South team are Pacquiao, James Yap, Junemar Fajardo, Greg Slaughter and Asi Taulava.

Pacquiao is likely to take part in a number of activities with the event set in the province where Columbian Autocar Corp. top boss Jose Alvarez is the current governor.
