MANILA, Philippines - Adamson University extended its winning streak to three as the Lady Falcons pinned University of Santo Tomas a fourth straight defeat with a 25-17, 15-25, 25-20, 25-20 win yesterday in the UAAP Season 77 women’s volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan.

Mylene Paat continued her consistent play, capping her 15-point showing with a match-clinching ace to lift Adamson above the .500 mark for the first time this season.

Later, Far Eastern University beat National University, 25-23, 26-24, 25-10, to even its record to 3-3.

The win gave Lady Tamaraws coach Shaq delos Santos something to cheer about as he ended a personal losing streak of six games when everytime his team plays in the final playdate before Christmas break.

Paat, who tallied six blocks, shared the scoring mantle with Amanda Villanueva, who also had 15 points, including three blocks, and collected nine digs for Adamson.

The Tigresses took the second set behind rookies Cherry Rondina and EJ Laure, but the Lady Falcons got back into the groove of things behind Paat, Villanueva and Jessica Galanza to book their third straight win.

Earlier, Mark Alfafara pumped in 24 hits as UST downed FEU, 22-25, 25-19, 27-25, 25-22, while Michael Sudaria and Bryan Saraza tossed in 19 points apiece as Adamson nipped De La Salle, 25-16, 22-25, 25-20, 21-25, 15-13.
