Prudente, Firmeza top ABC quarterly

MANILA, Philippines - Hermie Prudente of Moldex Pipes showed top form and rolled a 1664 to rule Group I while Abe Firmeza of Philflex Cables topped Group 2 with a 1373 in the Architects Bowling Club’s quarterly championship at the E Lanes in Ortigas Ave., San Juan last week.

Coach Furniture’s Johnny Baluyot scored a 1632, Toto Abear of Novelle Furniture shot a 1593 and Eugene Panaguiton of Emerald Pipes turned in a 1503 as they placed second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group I.

Zeny Prudente of Moldex Pipes shot a 1361, May Sabater, also of Novelle Furnitures, made a 1314 while Randy Pool of Duraflex scored a 1302 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively in Group 2 of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

A tight duel looms in today’s annual championship (Groups I and 2) with Firmeza confident of grabbing the Bowler of the Year honors.
