TV5 cancels Hopkins airing

MANILA, Philippines - TV5 announced it will not broadcast today’s scheduled match between Bernard Hopkins and Sergey Kovalev.

“Due to circumstances beyond our control, the scheduled broadcast tomorrow (Sunday) of Hopkins vs Kovalev has been cancelled,” the channel said in an advisory.

The unification title fight for the light heavyweight division takes place this morning with the airing orginally set at 1 p.m. via satellite on TV 5 from Atlantic City in New Jersey.
