Phl 13-U vies in PAREF Springdale Invitational

MANILA, Philippines - The Phl 13-under, coached by AMA athletic director Mark Herrera, is competing in the inaugural PAREF Springdale Invitational.

Herrera, who is also coaching the AMA Titans in the PBA D-League, said the tournament would serve as exposure for the team, a grassroots project of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas under SBP executive director Sonny Barrios, and supported by AMA University and Growee Vitamins.

Members of the team are Yves Lazaro of Philippine Science HS, Kean Herrera and JC Baltazar  of Ateneo, Vincent Vicencio of Xavier, Ryan Amsali of National U, Gab Fortuna, Kenneth Mendoza and Clint Escamis of San Beda-Alabang, Dennis Maqui, Joshua Balankid and Jao Patrick Celerinos of Ateneo-Cebu, Robert Callelero of Sacred Heart Catholic School, Joshua Villamor, Reid Baclig and Mark Verdin of AMA U, and Gab Lazo of St. Augustine International.
