Abear, Martinez top ABC monthly bowling

MANILA, Philippines - Toto Abear of WeKonstruct and Ricky Martinez of Novelle Furniture topped their respective groups to lead the winners in the ABC October Monthly Championship.

Abear of Group 1 showed his best form in the lanes by rolling 1,250 pinfalls, besting Nonoy De Jesus of Philflex Cables, who recorded 1,185, and Hermie Prudente of Moldex Pipes, who rolled 1,180 for third place.

Martinez posted 1,034 after the six-game series to rule Group 2 at the expense of Abe Firmeza of Philflex Cables, who scored 1,003 and Malou del Rosario of Boysen Paints, who finished with 967.

ABC  president Denis Jalandoon invited all architects to join the country’s oldest Architects’ Sports Club (now on its 37th year), the ABC Sports Club, which now has regional charter groups like ABC Cebu, ABC Davao ABC CDO, ABC Bacolod, ABC Iloilo, and ABC Pangasinan.

Architects, contractors and friends of the industry who have the passion to play bowling regularly meet and roll balls every Tuesday night, 7 p.m., at E-Lanes in San Juan.
