Mendoza, Madrinal best in ABC finals

MANILA, Philippines - Joan Mendoza of Glass Asia rolled a 1626 to beat Toto Abear of Novelle Furnitures (1562) and rule the Architects Bowling Club’s Leg Circuit finals at the E Lanes in Ortigas Ave., Greenhills, San Juan City last week.

Buddy Segui of American Wires scored a 1546 to place third while Nepthy del Rosario of Boysen Paints turned in a 1532 to finish fourth in Group 1 of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, Jho Madrinal of Romari Constructions made a 1152 to top Group 2 while Malou del Rosario of Dutch Boy Paints rolled 1151 for second and May Sabater and Ricky Martinez placed third and fourth, respectively.

The tournament, backed by Concrete Ventures, Philflex Cables, Duraflex TW/THW/THHN Wires, Boysen Acrytex/Knoxout/Wallguard/Healthy Homes, DN Steel, Romari Constructions, E.S.Vidal Builders, Goldbridge Neighborhood Dental, PNS Advanced Steel Tech, Moldex Pipes, Coach Furnitures, Miraga Trading, Steeltech, Morning Sun, Consnet Builders and Novelle Furnitures, resumes at 7 tonight with the holding of All Events Championship, also at E Lanes.
