MANILA, Philippines – Gilas Pilipinas back-up center June Mar Fajardo is the second most efficient player in the 2014 FIBA World Cup behind Spain's Pau Gasol.

Fajardo has been rated by Real GM with 44.92 efficiency rating behind Gasol's 48.66.

Despite seeing action in only nine minutes per game giving Andray Blatche some breather, Fajardo has been efficient, delivering six points, four rebounds and one shot block while shooting 59.3 percent from the field in Gilas' first three games. He did all those while committing only one turnover.

The reigning PBA MVP has shot 7-of-12 from the field while converting all of his four three throws.

His best game came against the giant frontline of Greece where he finished with 10 points in 10 minutes aside from grabbing seven boards and registering one steal and two blocks.

Gasol, on the other hand, has been Spain's main man in the competition. The Chicago Bulls' power forward-center is averaging 23.7 points in 25.7 minutes per game to go with 6.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.3 blocks while shooting a remarkable 65.1 percent.

Rounding up the top five most efficient players in the tournament are Zoran Dragic (44.82) of Slovenia, USA's Anthony Davis (44.2) of the New Orlean Pelicans and Serge Ibaka (41:41) of Spain.
