MANILA, Philippines – For Freddie Roach, Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s best days are far behind him.

That’s why Manny Pacquiao will knock him out if they ever fight.

A confident Roach spoke to boxingscene.com and pointed out that Mayweather – still undefeated after 46 fights – is past his prime and will finally fall against Pacquiao.

“I think Mayweather is shot, his legs are gone and Manny will knock him out,” the bespectacled trainer told boxingscene.com’s Rick Reeno.

Though it already lost some luster, a fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather could still fetch millions of dollars in revenue and remains an intriguing match-up pitting two of boxing’s biggest stars.

Both camps have taken several attempts to arrange the fight but failed. Mayweather takes on Marcos Maidana in a rematch on Sept. 13 while Pacquiao is booked to face Chris Algieri in November.

Once Pacquiao and Mayweather get past their respective foes, Roach thinks it will be the last time both fighters get the chance to face each other.

“I think this is it. If it doesn't happen after this fight, forget about it. We've done everything possible on our side to make that fight happen, everything possible. We agreed to a 60-40 split at one time. We agreed to drug testing, everything,” he explained.

Top Rank chief earlier declared all signs are pointing to a Mayweather-Pacquiao duel in 2015, with major US networks Showtime and HBO reportedly pushing for it.

Roach says he remains hopeful after Arum’s pronouncement.

“You hear rumors about TV stations getting along, wanting to do the fight together. Arum said that and that encourages me,” he continued.

The outspoken cornerman once again called out Mayweather.

“If he wants to get knocked out, sign the contract. He says he's sitting down [and not moving as often] to please the crowd. He don't care about pleasing no crowd, I don't think. He just can't move no more. His legs are shot. He's done,” said Roach.
