MANILA, Philippines - Although being held on a different venue, this year’s Energizer Night Race set on Sept. 6 will still dazzle participants and spectators alike as they power up for “positive energy” and contribute to a good cause.
Set at the Filinvest City Alabang, the race will again feature runners beaming up the race route courtesy of the Energizer 3LED Headlights that will be part of their running gear.
Aside from the fun and excitement in store for the 3,000 target participants, the race will support the GMA Kapuso Foundation, with various Energizer Lights and batteries to be donated to its outreach program.
The race will be a follow-up to last year’s “glowing race” supported by thousands of runners in the Greater Manila are.
Registration is going on at various RUNNR outlets at Bonifacio Global City, Alabang Town Center and Brooks SM North Edsa. Details of the event are also available on Energizer’s website at www.energizerbatteries.com.ph. and www.Facebook.com/EnergizerPH.
Registration fees are P600 for 3K, P700 for 5K and P800 for 10K runners, with a headlight worth P499 part of the package.
“With the prices made very affordable, we are inviting everyone to come and join us in this event. This is a good venue to bond with families and friends as we spread positive energy,” said Lady Reyes, Energizer Philippines product manager for Lights and Specialty, who graced yesterday’s Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum at Shakey’s Manila.
“We would like this year’s run to be a venue of fun and excitement for everyone who will join, so we’re focusing on their enjoyment more than anything else,” said Cara Ramirez-Tecson, Energizer Philippines Inc. marketing manager.”
