Bombers shock fancied Chiefs in 3OT

MANILA, Philippines -- In the nightcap, Jose Rizal eked out a 99-98 triple overtime victory over Arellano U as it jumped to joint fourth spot with Lyceum with 4-3 records in the NCAA men's basketball tournament.

Jaycee Asuncion, Michael Mabulac and Philip Paniamogan provided the scoring by combining for 57 points while Ghanan Abdul Razak Abdul Wahab had a career highs 18 points and 21 rebounds to help seal the Bombers the win.

The Chiefs fell to second with a 5-2 card.
