Cebu hosts Shell active chess

MANILA, Philippines - The chase for berths in the grand finals of the 22nd Shell National Youth Active Chess Championship shifts to Cebu when the Visayas leg of the nationwide circuit is held this weekend at SM City Consolacion Event Eenter in Consolacion, Cebu.

Spicing up this year’s quest is the battle for the lone female berth in both the juniors and kiddies divisions with the novel format mixing the female players with the boys. The top lady finisher will advance to the grand finals.
